CMHH concludes its 10th season with music for strings and piano. Violinist Melissa Barrett and pianist Jean Shamo open with a performance of Beethoven’s “Kreutzer” Sonata. An little-known but haunting work follows, Bohuslav Martinu’s Three Madrigals, played by violinist Askao Kremer and violist Yvonne Johnson. Concluding the program is Smetana’s colorful G Major Piano Trio, featuring guest pianist Daphne Spottiswoode with violinist Tristan Lehnert and cellist Angela Maleh..
